What’s Pickleball?
Pickleball is a paddle and ball sport played on a hard court surface, either indoors or outdoors.
The courts are smaller than a tennis court and use a modified net. It can be played as singles or doubles.
More information can be found here on Pickleball Australia’s website.
Our sessions
An important update on our Kiama Pickleball Socials
We wanted to share a little update on our Kiama Pickleball Socials.
We’ve loved bringing these sessions to our community. The response has been incredible! Seeing everyone get active, make friends and enjoy a laugh together has made it so rewarding. Our goal has always been to create a welcoming place where people can have a go and feel included.
Over the past year, we’ve continued the socials while taking on the management of Milton Ulladulla Tennis Club and relocating our family to the Ulladulla area. Keeping that connection with our Kiama community has meant a lot to us.
With Sam now preparing for an exciting new chapter as a dad, we had hoped to hand over the sessions so they could continue. Unfortunately, that plan hasn’t worked out, and we’ve made the difficult decision to pause our Kiama Pickleball Socials for the remainder of 2026.
We know this will be disappointing, especially for those who have made the socials part of their weekly routine. Thank you for showing up, welcoming new players and helping create such a friendly group.
We’ll see what 2027 brings. If we’re able to resume the sessions, you’ll be the first to know.
